We are very pleased to announce that we will be organizing our very first Baakhan Kane Waa (come tell your stories) in collaboration with EITV 2023 on 18 March 2023.
The theme for this session of Baakhan Kane Waa is “Childhood Memories”.
- Do you remember any story that your parents/grandparents told you when you were a child?
- Do you remember any incident from your childhood that has stayed with you all these years?
- Do you reminisce how your city/town/village used to be in your childhood and how it has changed?
The call is now open to anyone who wants to share the stories from your childhood with the world. If you are interested please fill out the Google form here:

As far as possible, please attach an audio file <filename=yourname> of you reciting your story. You can email the audio file to: baakhan.nyanewaa@gmail.com.
We will be conducting a workshop for the selected storytellers on 15 March 2023.
