Excellence Prize
Ms. Alina Tamrakar won the Excellence Prize in 2019 Asia-Pacific Youth ICH Storytelling Contest! . She had shared a video on a traditional devotional music “Gunla” now open to women, endangered indigenous languages, and sewing and women’s self-reliance.
Participation Prize
Baakhan Nyane Waa won the Participation Prize in 2019 Asia-Pacific Youth ICH Storytelling Contest!
Participants from 19 countries submitted their photo essays and videos and BNW was selected as one of the prize winners.
KMC Business Hub’s Urban Innovation Program
Baakhan Nyane Waa along with 10 startup businesses won the KMC Business Hub’s Urban Innovation Program conducted by Kathmandu Metropolitan City and UNDP Nepal, held from March 2022 to July 2022. Certificate was handed over by Deputy Mayor Ms. Sunita Dangol to the winners of the program.
